A moment of reflection and intention for the year ahead

“… and then one day I decided that hurry and stress were self-created and were no longer going to be part of my life.”

As we step into 2023, what is one decision you could have made last year to improve your life or accelerate your progress?

During my recent yearly self-review, I asked myself this very question. My answer was clear: reducing stress.

Like many, I have faced this challenge, and I’ve noticed that most stress is self-created 😊. It is rooted in impatience and the gap between our expectations and reality - and how much we can accept that gap.

The impact of self-created stress

Does this mean you should not set ambitious goals? Absolutely not. Next Level leaders are undoubtedly ambitious, but they are also more honest, realistic, and at peace with their goals, expectations, and the need for regular regeneration - monthly, weekly, and daily.

These leaders build their own systems. They continuously explore and learn what works best for them - not for everyone else, but for themselves. As a result, they experience increased calmness and confidence.

Reflect and set intentions for 2023

If you are interested in reflecting on 2022 and setting clear intentions for 2023, I would be happy to share my self-mastery reflection approach. It is designed to help you identify key learnings and focus areas for the new year, touching on:

  • Moments that made you feel alive

  • Goal hits and misses—and understanding why

  • Time investment and its impact

  • Connection and influence in your life
